Damn, Gary Moore died.

Who? Gary Moore was probably the best of the amazing guitarists that served in Thin Lizzy, a man with monster jazz skills as anyone who ever heard Colosseum II could testify, a decent career as a solo hard rock artist in the 80s, and significant success as a blues player thereafter. He played the blues with taste and restraint, jazz with integrity and a sense of exploration, and rock with intensity without ever losing his sense of melody. The tone of his guitar was extraordinary; that rich Les Paul sound with just enough grit to give him wonderful sustains. We lost a good one this weekend my friends. R.I.P.
