A Beer Best Served Warm

A Beer Best Served Warm

Last night I opened a 750 of Surly SeVIIn that I got from the Pharm Doc. This is one you definitely want to put the wine stopper in and save the rest for tomorrow (at least if you’re my age). This sucker is 12.5 ABV, the equivalent of at least 15 Coors Light.

It has a heady aroma, with a sweet malt taste with notes of grain and dark fruits. Hidden behind is a hop/alcohol kick that creeps up on you. The finish is complex and fades slow into the sunset.

I’ll finish the bottle tonight. My thanks to Pharm Doc for procuring this beauty. Surly never ceases to amaze me.
