I’ve been posting very little these last few weeks. This happens pretty often in the summer when there’s a lot more to do than come up with something to say every day. I’ve got preparations for a class reunion coming up, work to do outside on the house, some spreadsheets to work on (actual $ work), and last but not least my mother-in-law has been moved to a nursing home. She’s on a swift decline and the waiting game has begun. So the blog has not been a priority.
It’s not that I don’t have anything to write about. There’s some writing deliberations that I’ve been making. The cats have been up to no good. We’ve seen a few movies and TV shows that deserve some contemplation, especially the Avengers film. I suppose I should at least applaud Joss Whedon for featuring the buttocks of his male stars as much as his sole female one. But the sun is shining, the Family Truckster needs cleaning, I haven’t done a thing with this South Carolina spreadsheet today, and Sneakers will not be ignored. And so it goes.
